Payments on My Page
A Java monolith that loaded slowly and produced errors because the domain rules were missing from the code. Rewrote the logic in Kotlin/Spring Boot with the settlement experts, and verified it against the old code in production until every discrepancy was explained.

New pension calculator
Architect and backend developer for the calculator members use to plan their retirement, and the internal variant for case workers. Kotlin/Spring Boot on Kubernetes, built on SPK's domain services.

Event-driven integrations on Kafka in Kotlin/Spring Boot between the order systems in two countries. Requirements worked out continuously with the business, acceptance tests in Cucumber.

Three areas, one thread
Backend
Kotlin and Spring Boot in production since 2019, TDD since 2001. Event-driven integrations on Kafka and Azure Service Bus, operated on Kubernetes and OpenShift. New code is verified against what it replaces, in production.
Architecture
Domain model and solution architecture built together with the domain experts, until the rules live in the code. From monolith to services in step with the team's regular deliveries, no big bang.
AI
AI tooling in everyday development work, not as a side pilot. Context engineering, agent workflows and my own tooling that keeps sensitive data away from the agent. I write about it on finnrobert.no.

One experienced person, not an agency.
My name is Finn-Robert Kristensen. Intello Group AS is my own company, and I take on engagements as an independent consultant. Pensions twice: SPK 2024–2026, and PERFORM during the Norwegian pension reform 2009–2011 as lead architect for Steria's team.
